At NHL Stenden, we offer high-quality, distinctive programs in International Teacher Education (ITE). Our ITE programs prepare students for careers in international schools through bachelor’s courses in primary education (ITEPS) and secondary education (ITESS), a specialized ITE track within the Master's in Learning & Innovation (MITE), as well as a postgraduate programme Instructional Design for Diversity.

Our ITE community includes over 600 students, most of whom live in or around Meppel. With an international faculty equipped with extensive and varied educational experience, we offer all courses in English. What will you do
As a Teacher of Mathematics within ITE you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and reviewing learning sessions at our Meppel campus. You will contribute to both the ITESS and ITEPS programmes.
Within ITEPS, you will work closely with a team of mathematics lecturers to design and facilitate an inquiry-based, active, and inspiring mathematics learning environment. Together, you will support student teachers in developing their mathematical understanding and pedagogical approaches, preparing them for their future primary classrooms.

Across both programmes, you will be actively involved in curriculum development and in strengthening the connection between theory and practice in mathematics education.
